The Philadelphia Jr Flyers Girls are proud to announce the commitment of 19U Defenseman, Sierra Moore, to St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.  The St. Olaf Oles compete in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), along with: Augsburg, Bethel, Concordia, Gustavus, Hamline, Saint Benedict, Saint Mary’s, St. Catherine, and St. Thomas.

Moore, the 5’3”, 124-lbs. left-handed defenseman from Robbinsville, NJ, is in her second season with the JRF 19U TI team. Moore has been a dependable blueliner this season for the 19U squad, under first-year head coach, Laura McConney.   When asked about Moore, Coach McConney said “Sierra is solid and consistent – she distributes the puck with intelligence and reliably shuts down her opponents”.  McConney was also complimentary of Moore’s off-ice habits, stating that “she continually works to improve her game, never settling for being ‘good enough’”.

Congrats and good luck to Sierra! St. Olaf - Class of '24.
