The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers are pleased to announce the organization’s Player of the Month for November 2019. The Player of the Month is a monthly feature during the 2019-20 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Peewee, Bantam and Midget levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Player of the Month award.

Coach Joe Moran reflected on his team's success in November, "These past few weeks have been great for our team, and it started with our crisp, energetic practices and that work ethic carried over into really well played games.  We have committed to team defense, and our goaltending has been very strong, which helped us to a 4-1-2 record over the month.  Every player on this team is focused and contributing to our success, without a doubt, but the player that really stood out to me in all of this success has been Hunter Haas, my choice for Jr. Flyers Player of the Month."

"Hunter has really matured this season, and each game I am watching a player that is seeing the ice and anticipating plays before they happen."  Coach Moran continued, "Hunter is really playing a selfless, team-oriented game.  He is blocking shots in the defensive zone.  He is making the right pass at the right time on all parts of the ice.  Most of all he's not giving up on plays, but rather he's bringing intensity and determination to each shift.  These are all key ingredients to his production as an offensive player, and that production showed up in a big way with Hunter recording 11 points (5G, 6A) over our seven games this month.  Three of his assists resulted in game winning goals, and he also notched a hat-trick versus a strong Team Maryland.  Simply put, he was a consistent presence in our games."  Coach Moran concluded, "Hunter had a month of individual highlights, for sure, but most encouraging to me is that, ultimately, Hunter's individual accomplishments are rooted in his commitment to his team, and to his teammates, to give them his full effort every time he hits the ice."
