Sally Solotaroff-Webber to Bowdoin College (NCAA D-III)

19U Goaltender commits to playing her college hockey at Bowdoin

The Jr Flyers Girls are pleased to announce the acceptance of 19U Goaltender, Sally Solotaroff-Webber, to Bowdoin College (NCAA D-III). The Bowdoin Polar Bears are a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).  The NESCAC is known for its' commitment to academic excellence, as well as strong athletics.  Along with Bowdoin, the women’s ice hockey conference consists of: Colby, Middlebury, Connecticut College, Wiilliams, Amherst, Hamilton, Trinity, and Wesleyan.

Sally Solotaroff-Webber is a 5’7”, 140-lbs. left-handed goaltender.  The Montclair, NJ native has been solid in her first season with the orange and black, utilizing a great combo of technical ability, quickness, and athleticism.  Her goalie coach, George Bosak, said “Sally is a very cerebral goaltender, who has committed herself to being able to control the game and put her team in a position to win each game.”  

Sally is a competitor, who will push for minutes early on in her Bowdoin career.  Best of luck and congratulations, Sally!  Bowdoin Polar Bears – Class of ’24.
