Ice hockey has always been a professional sport that we can be proud to be a part of.  The players, coaches, and families of the Jr. Flyers 16UAA Girls Elite Team worked together this past weekend to be of service to our community.  Donations of basic items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. were collected and the girls created thoughtful and artistic bags that will go to many local families.  The donations were taken to the Dorothy Day Center in West Chester and will provide help to families in crisis.  It was nice to see the girls take a break from hockey to help those who are not as fortunate as those of us lucky to be a part of hockey.
