The Jr. Flyers 16UAA Girls Elite Team took Detroit by storm over MLK weekend!  The team played in the competitive Freeze in the D Tournament and took the championship title.  The final game was a tough match up and a nail biter at times for those in the stands.  But the girl’s hard work this season paid off and they beat the Northshore Warhawks 3-2 for the win.  Kids, coaches, and parents celebrated with a lot of loud cheering and you can see the girl’s big smiles in their photograph.  If you pass by a member of the team or coaching staff at the rink this week, give them a high-five!
