West Chester, PA – The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Girls are excited to announce the commitment for 2021 Forward, Kylie Aquaro, to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The RIT Tigers are an NCAA D-I program playing in the College Hockey America Conference (CHA), along with Lindenwood, Mercyhurst, Penn State, RMU, and Syracuse.

Aquaro currently plays Forward for the 19U Tier I team and is in her 4th season with the Jr Flyers.  Over her first 3 seasons, she tallied 111 goals and 146 assists for 257 points in 189 games. During that timeframe, she led the team offensively to back-to-back trips to USA Hockey Nationals – a streak that came to a halt this spring due to Covid-19.

Aquaro is an elite playmaker, with great vision and hockey IQ.  Her puck control and play below the dots make her an impact player every time she is on the ice.

On her commitment, Aquaro said, “I picked RIT because it felt like home when I stepped on campus. The moment I started talking to the coaches, I knew this was the place for me. I’m so excited to continue my hockey and academic career at RIT. I want to thank my coaches, teammates, family, and friends for all of the support and encouragement along the way!”

Congratulations, Kylie! RIT Tigers Class of ’25.
