The Pee Wee Minor 2004 Jr Flyer Hockey team had a strong weekend in the Tier 1 Elite Showcase going 4-1 this past weekend in Columbus, OH gaining the 1st seed from the red division in the round robin and playing in the championship game against Milwaukee Jr. Admirals coming up short 2-1 in the Final.  The showcase featured teams from Michigan, St. Louis, Milwaukee, California, and several others. The Jr Flyers went undefeated in the round robin with a 4-0 win against the San Jose Jr. Sharks, followed by a 6-4 win over TPH Thunder to finish the first day. On the second day of the showcase, the Jr. Flyers recorded a 7-0 win over the Cleveland Barons and finished the round robin with a 3-1 victory of Sylvania North Stars.  The Championship game featured the Jr. Flyers and the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals where the boys fell short 2-1 but included a historic performance by goalie Christian Green.  The boys enjoyed the weekend with a holiday party and the entire team attending and supporting the Philadelphia Flyers against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Nationwide Arena in downtown Columbus. What a great way to finish 2015 and bring momentum into 2016.
