Jr. Flyers 15 team beats Thunder 4-3 Sunday in TIE Showcase

Jack Ford scores game winner on power play

The Junior Flyers scored 2 goals on the power play to beat TPH Thunder 4-3.

Lucas Cook opened the scoring for the 15's early in the 1st period assisted by Matthew Beck. After TPH scored the next 2 goals,  CJ Boyd tied the game for Philly at the 14:30 mark of period 2 on the PP.  The Jr. Flyers took the lead just 36 seconds later when Gavin Pugh scored off a Jack Ford pass.

The Flyers lead only  lasted 17 seconds as TPH came back to tie the game at 3. The game remained tied until Jack Ford scored the game winner on the PP with under 3 minutes remaining assisted by Bryson  Russell.

Ty Hutchinson saved 18 of 21 TPH shots to earn the victory for Philadelphia
