The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers EHL Junior team is pleased to announce its inaugural Player of the Week for week ending December 2, 2018. The winner is goaltender Tyler Roy.

Roy, who is new to the team, played in both games this past weekend against the Valley Jr. Warriors. He had a 2.40 goals against average and .935 save percentage. The 6’2”, 175 lb. native of Brighton, MI allowed only goal and stopped 32 of 33 shots in Saturday’s 5 – 1 victory. He turned aside 40 of 44 shots in Sunday’s shootout win.

“Tyler had a great first weekend for us” stated general manager and head coach Jerry Domish. “While he played well in Saturday’s win, he kept us in Sunday’s game and gave us the chance to come back and ultimately win in Sunday’s game. I’m happy for him” concluded Domish.
