The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers are pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending January 6, 2019. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2018-19 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Peewee, Bantam and Midget levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Bantam Player of the Week – Kenny Duffield, Defense, Bantam Major

The ‘04’s had two AYHL games this past weekend and Kenny Duffield had five points (all assists) to help his team earn a 1-0-1 record. On Saturday, the Richboro, PA native had two assists in his team’s 3 – 3 tie against the New Jersey Devils, and he had three assists in Sunday’s 5 – 1 win over Elite Hockey. “Kenny had a heck of a weekend for us” stated head coach Roman Bussetti. “He played extremely well along the blueline, but he really jumped into the play and made things happen for us” concluded Bussetti.
