Makayla Javier Commits to Mercyhurst University (NCAA D-I)

Congratulations to 19UAAA Defenseman, Makayla Javier, on her commitment to Mercyhurst University for the 2022-23 season.
The Mercyhurst Lakers play in the College Hockey America (CHA) Conference, alongside Penn State, Syracuse, Lindenwood, and RIT. Mercyhurst is located in Erie, Pennsylvania and has only two Division I teams on campus: Women's Ice Hockey & Men's Ice Hockey.
Javier is in her 4th season with the Jr. Flyers and was voted as an Alternate Captain by her teammates last season. She is an imposing presence in all 3 zones and can make an impact in any situation.
Congrats, MJ! Mercyhurst Class of 2026.
