19U Defenseman heading to St. Louis for 2022-23 season

West Chester, PA – The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Girls are excited to announce the commitment of 19U Defenseman, Sarah Davies, to Lindenwood University (NCAA D-I) for the 2022-23 season.   Lindenwood is located outside of St. Louis, MO. and the Lions compete in College Hockey America (CHA), along with Penn State, RIT, Syracuse, and Mercyhurst.

The Ontario-born defenseman has played previously for Mississauga and Brampton (PWHL).  Davies competes physically in her own end and has an active stick while defending.  Her skating ability allows her to set good gaps and angle effectively off the rush.   Offensively, she moves the puck well and has a heavy shot from the point.

Of her commitment, Davies said, “I picked Lindenwood University because I really admire the coaches and their determination to win. They have an amazing program that I look forward to being a part of. The coaches made the recruiting process very easy for me as they were always in my corner and they saw the best in me. I can’t wait to be a Lion in 2022!”

    Congratulations, Sarah!
