Jr. Flyers 16U forward Kenny Connors skated with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League (USHL) yesterday.

“I had a great time” stated Connors. “It was a great learning experience for me. It gave me a chance to participate with a team at the highest levels of junior hockey in the United States. Plus, I had a wonderful meeting with the coaching staff in the afternoon. I am truly humbled, and I would like to thank the Phantoms for giving me this opportunity” concluded Connors.

“I’m so happy for Kenny” said 16U head coach Chris Campanale. “He is such a great kid and a gifted player. I’m glad he was given this opportunity” concluded Campanale.

In thirteen games played this season in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League and Tier 1 Elite League, the Glen Mills, PA native has twelve points (4 goals and 8 assists).
